How many times have you collided with someone coming
around the corner at precisly the same time? How many near
misses startled you? And how many doors almost hit you as you
pushed in
while someone was headed out? These are annoyances at best, but could
be hazardous at worst, such as in a hospital or restaurant. Working
late in the office can be a little easier knowing someone isn't lingering around the corner waiting for you to pass by.
Seitech
Innovations has developed a working prototype of a unique safety light
that addresses these issues. The Spry-Light utilizes state of the art
motion sensors and LED's to alert someone that a person or object is
around a corner, thereby averting innocent collisions or possibly
thwarting an attack. The device is simple, light and portable, making
it versatile and useful in many applications.
The device can be
placed at any structural corner. As a person walks toward the corner
motion sensors will detect that motion and the light will go off on the
opposite side. That notifies anyone headed for that corner that someone
is approaching. The flexible device can also be bent around a door edge
to warn of someone about to come through.
Some applications include:
A proof of concept unit was engineered by Seitech and built by a specialty lighting manufacturer in China.

Design
considerations such as dimensions, power, LED's and wall adherence were
discussed and negotiated by Seitech and the manufacturer. It was
decided that the unit would not only have a short duration alert, but
also a 60 second setting, so that the unit could light "hard to light"
areas such as crawlspaces and attics. The unit was
tested in China after manufacturing was complete. Once shipped to
Seitech the unit was tested and it passed all scenario testing. Some
protoype photos are shown below:
Results
of testing show the unit functions as designed. A provisional patent
now exists on the Spry-Light. Funding
is now required to create a production unit; one that is smaller,
sturdier and can be mass produced. The concept will be shown on
crowdfunding sites to help achieve this goal. Email with comments or

In October of 2012 Infrasolar Energy (www.infrasolar.net) became
part of Seitech Solutions. Infrasolar's mission was to incorporate the latest in
clean-tech advances into the nations iinfrastructure. Infrasolar
designed the Solar Barrier Module (SBM) which attaches onto concrete
median barriers to provide power to Electric Vehicle charging stations
and highway utilities. See
		 www.infrasolar.net/solutions
for the original conceptual design. This concept was proposed to the
Dept. of Transportation under the SBIR Phase 1 grant program, but
maintenance concerns disqualified the solution. It was proposed this
concept is better fitted for temporary power needs such as in work
zones.
Seitech
is now re-designing the SBM to be more efficient and have a defined use
in electric car charging. In addition to creating new products, such as
the SBM, Seitech
applies skills in engineering & management to advance
commercialization of new products. Seitech's core strenths are as
follows:
Pre-Sales (Prototype)
- Lead Generation and tracking
 - Proposal writing/submission
 - Project manage R& D

  | - Evangelize technology at tradeshows/conferences
 - Product demonstrations
 - New applications for technology

  |
Post Contract Award - Implementation Phase
- Plan and manage pilot programs
 - Project manager/engineer for engagement
 - Vendor and subcontract oversight

  | - On-site progress inpections
 - Rollout/deployment process improvements
 - Financial tracking/monitoring (burn rate)

We are  always on the lookout for advanced and
innovative processes and technologies that make our world a better
place.  Seitech is advancing the notion of a
combination wind-solar module for permanent installation along the
concrete barrier which will tap into traffic-induced wind to provide an extremely efficient source of energy.
Let's work together to bring new product solutions to market. Call or write us to discuss:
